Annual Report

Challenge

The V Foundation was founded by ESPN and the late Jim Valvano with one goal in mind: Victory Over Cancer. Over the past 28 years, the V Foundation has awarded more than $260 million in grants for cancer research. In 2017, just weeks before this report was published, the V Foundation completely refocused branding bringing in new colors, fonts, and direction for messaging and images. This report was one of the first major releases utilizing the new branding.

Process

Created in InDesign, this report used stock images cohesively with pictures provided by the V Foundation, as well as graphics created in Illustrator used to emphasize statistics. While the content the V Foundation provided was very text heavy, I was able to pull out statistics and pull quotes to create visual appeal and to attract and keep the audience engaged with the content.

Result

This digital report firmly established the rebranding effort for the V Foundation and successfully connected with supporters to show where and how their donations were being used.
