Challenge
The Annual Scholars Program at Duke University Divinity School is part of the Divinity School’s scholarship program. When they needed a piece encouraging larger donations in support of the program they came to Metro.
Process
Duke Divinity School provided me with a word document consisting of a few quotes and some statistics. After creating a few layouts using placeholder photography, the Divinity School selected this layout and was able to secure photographs to accompany the quotes. To help this piece stand out, I chose an image of the University’s beautiful Chapel opposite of the bell tower. This stunning photograph of the school depicts a different view than most photographs of the Chapel encouraging donors to have a different view on how they can support the Divinity School
Result
This brochure was greatly successful in attracting and encouraging donors as an accompanying insert in mailings, letters, and invites sent out through out the year. So successfully, in fact, that the same design was used the next year as well with updated quotes.
