Integrated Print and Digital Campaign

Challenge

With over 70 locations across over 30 countries, Marken, a branch of UPS, delivers end-to-end capabilities for today’s adaptive clinical and pharmaceutical trial landscape. Annually, Marken Corporate sends out a combination of physical and digital holiday cards along side a yearlong calendar as an appreciation for clients, patients and staff. With a quick turnaround, this project annually must be designed, printed and shipped to arrive around the globe within a month from client initiation.

Process

Based on their annual marketing campaign, "The Lifeblood of your Clinical Supply Chain" the desk calendar pulls in campaign elements and the Holiday card notes successes from their year. Research is done to collect stock images related to locations selected by Marken and then initial layouts were sent for approval from the client. Once the layout was approved, each month was laid out and the stand was deigned. While the calendars are printing, the Holiday cards, both print and digital are created to accompany the calendars when they are distributed to each global location.

Result

Over 3,000 calendars and holiday cards utilizing different languages were printed for Marken to distribute worldwide. Great feedback from both corporate offices was received for each piece of this integrated campaign. As a shipping company, they loved the use of "postage stamps" on the holiday card as well as the listings a pictures of locations throughout the calendar.
